ice ice baby

so, I pretty much hate the cold and winter and can only tolerate them because I know summer will come. but, I actually kinda like winter when I get to do cool things that can only be done in the snow (sledding, skiing, snowshoeing, and probably other things that start with an S). what I'm getting at is that we went to the Ice Climbing Festival in Bozeman last weekend and that I got to try ice climbing! it was actually way less scary than I envisioned (cause I mean, ice + axes doesn't really make me think it'll hold me up) and had I not been FREEZING I probably would've even loved it as much as JG did.

see? fun. plus Bozeman is a dream of a town. I wish it got warmer in the summer cause then I might wanna move there, even.

I'll leave you with this picture of a really amazing igloo we saw on the hike to the ice. I cannot believe someone built that. (also, don't I look cold?)

  1. I'm just so cold looking at these! But also I think it's really really cool that you ice climbed. And that igloo is amazing! And Bozeman is so awesome! (But I've only been in the summertime, and that's why I think I liked it so much!)

  2. This is cool. I like how adventurous you two are. That second photo of JG climbing where you can see all the ice is amazing! Who knew frozen water was so pretty?
